Pedal Haus Brewery: Flavor Over Texture
Published on February 13, 2026
Our visit to Pedal Haus Brewery in Phoenix provided a great pre-show atmosphere, but the wings didn’t quite hit the high bar set by our previous outings. Here is the complete breakdown of our review.
The Official Scores
The panel was divided on this one, largely due to the texture of the wings:
-
Daylynn: 4/5
-
Brian: 3/5
-
Bily: 3/5
-
Little Bear: 3/5
-
CJ (Guest Judge): 2/5
The Wing Breakdown: Buffalo
We ordered two rounds of Buffalo wings, specifically requesting them extra crispy.
-
The Good: The flavor was excellent and well-received by everyone at the table.
-
The Critique: Despite the “extra crispy” request, the wings lacked the crunch we were looking for. They felt like they needed a double-fry or an air-fry to truly crisp up. While they were safe to eat, they didn’t have that “fully cooked” firm texture we expect from a well-done wing.
Other Menu Highlights
-
The Brewer’s Board: This was a standout—a massive pretzel charcuterie board featuring prosciutto, beer brat, brie, beer cheese, olives, and maple butter. It was highly enjoyed and easily fed the group.
-
Drinks: The Voltage Black beer was a hit, and the lemonade was a solid non-alcoholic option.
Atmosphere & Vibe
-
The Setting: The interior has a cool, dark vibe.
-
Entertainment: We enjoyed the arcade one-up games, which added a fun, retro element to the experience.
-
Service: The staff was great at getting our food out quickly so we could make our 7:00 PM show.
